Who We Are

Alta Vista Services is certified through Supplier Clearing House as a Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprise or WMBE, and also certified as a Micro Business with the State of California Department of General Services.

History and Co-Founders:
Rose Sandoval-French‘s parents migrated to the United States under the Bracero Program after WWII. Since then Rose has went on to receive her Bachelors and Masters degrees in education and has taught bilingual education for thirty years. Upon Rose’s vision, Alta Vista Services was created in 2002 to help mentor and build the skill sets of young college students to prepare them for the world after college.

Jeff French has been in sales and marketing for 40 years. He has worked with organizations from small family owned  businesses to Fortune 1000 companies.

Rose French has taught school for over 30 years. In that time she has mentored many young men and women, helping to expand their opportunity in the United States. As a volunteer she has taught English as a second language, citizenship classes and life skills to the community. She has a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education.

Rose and Jeff find students that are willing to work on a project basis. These projects include teaching English in the workplace, document translation, web research for sales and marketing of select companies and focused multi-channel communications to this companies.

Patrick French and Aaron French, sons of Jeff and Rose, have a Bachelors Degrees from four year universities. Patrick has taken the noble commitment of protecting and serving the people of El Dorado County as a Sheriff. Aaron with 25 years of Sales and Marketing experience, serves as the Pro-Bono Business Development Manager for Alta Vista Services.

Student Opportunity:
Projects are reviewed by Rose and Jeff and turned over to the students. Iliana Orozco, the lead of those students, delegates tasks accordingly to ensure efficiency. Iliana has worked through DACA/Dream Act and is currently awaiting the next steps to ensure her future here in the United Sates. She works with the group to complete the task, interface with client, manage the accounting and payment. Iliana inputs data into Quickbooks and reviews with Rose and Jeff.

Rose and Jeff work with Iliana and the students to generate new projects through multi-channel marketing.
